About

Prime Harbour View is a small editorial index of hotels. It exists because four hotel categories — art hotels, capsule hotels, casino hotels and ice hotels — are consistently described badly: as lists, as scores, as one-line hooks. Each of them is really a building with a reason for being the way it is, and that reason takes a paragraph or two to explain.

What the site is

Four sections, a handful of properties in each, written as prose. We describe what is true of a property in general: how the building is laid out, what it grew out of, what a stay there tends to involve. Nothing is presented as a live fact — opening hours, room counts and seasonal arrangements all change, and we do not try to track them.

What the site is not

It is not a booking agent, a price comparison service, or a review platform. We publish no ratings, no star scores, no guest reviews and no prices. We have no commercial relationship with any property described here, and no property has paid for or approved its entry.

Geography

The index is not tied to one country. Properties are chosen because they illustrate their category clearly, wherever they happen to stand.
